Fr. Jim is a retired priest and member of the congregation who serves as parish priest for liturgical and pastoral care needs. He served many years in the southern Tier and Christ Church is blessed by Fr.Jim and his wife, Joan.
Desiree manages the church office and calendar, as well as the website. She generates weekly bulletins and publications; handles church orders and stock; monitors payroll and payroll services, and assists clergy, ministry teams, parishioners, callers and visitors with any projects, needs or questions. A native of Ohio, Desiree grew up mostly in Binghamton and brings energy, joy, and insight to her duties. She is a student with a double major in child psychology and pediatric nursing.
Nancy handles accounts receivable, bill payment, detailed general ledgers, Check Registers, & Bank reconciliation, financial statements, customized reports, and assist Finance Ministry with Team Budget preparation.
The Chancel Choir provide beautiful choral music at our Sunday worship services from the Sunday after Labor Day through Memorial Day and at special services including Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter, and Christmas Eve. They also sing at funerals, confirmations, and ordinations. Bill himself is an accomplished singer who performs regularly in regional opera and theater. Many know him from his day job at WSKG radio.
Bobbie is our organist for worship services and events, such as weddings and funerals. An accomplished organist and long-time Episcopalian, Bobbie provides excellent guidance to wedding couples and for other liturgical events.
Canterbury Choir made up mostly of Binghamton University students, sings Evensong at Christ Church once a month, bringing the sublime beauty of this worship to the broader community. Christ Church Choristers follow Royal School of Church Music curriculum and sing at Evensong and the occasional Sunday Holy Eucharist.
